Communication with Stakeholders

In 2015, the United Nations adopted 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), covering global sustainability issues for the next 15 years. After review, the direction of our ESG policy was found to be consistent with the SDGs, and we have taken these material issues as an important basis for our development strategy. UPC Technology Corporation (UPC) continues to pay attention to the development of relevant domestic and international standards, and the changes in the corporate environment to review and improve related systems and effectiveness.

Identification of Stakeholders and Materiality Analysis Process

UPC understands and responds to stakeholders’ concerns through a variety of communication channels, including our official website, ESG reports, annual reports, and internal publications. Through the materiality analysis process, the company discusses issues in ESG meetings, where the respective heads of departments are responsible for promoting activities related to corporate responsibility, verifying, and identifying stakeholders. We maintain interaction with stakeholders through a variety of communication channels, and incorporate issues of concern to internal and external stakeholders into routine work, and annual plans and objectives.

Responding to Key Issues and Concerns

To maintain good interaction with stakeholders, UPC communicates with stakeholders through the company’s official website, ESG reports, annual reports, and internal publications. In addition, we also use a variety of communication channels to understand and provide suitable response to stakeholder concerns, incorporate internal and external stakeholder concerns into our daily work, and apply material issues as a basis to promote the development of our business.
