@ The Best Non-Toxic Eco-Friendly Plasticizer

The chemical name of DINCH is (DiIsoNonyl CycloHexane-1,2-dicarboxylate), the word DINCH comes from an abbreviation of DINCH’s chemical name, just like common plasticizers DEHP and DINP are named. DINCH environmentally friendly plasticizer is mainly produced by hydrogenation of DINP (as shown in Figure 1), and the benzene-free structure provides better safety. The product is clear, transparent, colorless and odorless. It is widely used in the processing of PVC products. Its non-toxic property is very suitable for human contact such as medical devices, children's toys, food packaging and flooring applications.

DINCH was first launched in the European market. In October 2006, the European Food Safety Authority approved DINCH for various food contact applications; in 2016, the Scientific Committee on Emerging and Newly-Identified Health Risks (abbreviation SCENIHR)Note 1 evaluated the safety of PVC medical devices containing DEHP plasticizer or other plasticizers in newborns and other populations. According to the report, DINCH can be used for European CE-certified medical devices (such as respiratory masks). In the evaluation of PVC blood bags, the anticoagulant effect of DINCH is equivalent to that of DEHP, and it is the best substition at present, hence the safety of DINCH plasticizer has been recognized.
